Mental Health in the Workplace First Aid Training Courses Manchester

Mental Health in the Workplace

Course Information

Our Mental Health in the Workplace course covers a wide spectrum of workplace positions. From our level 1 course which is basic awareness course for every member of staff, our level 2 course for people wanting to be able to identify someone and assist a person with mental health-related problems within the workplace, to our level 3 course for managers and those who require a higher level of training.

All Every Second Counts First Aid & Safety Training's mental health in the workplace courses meets and exceeds recommendations from the Health and Safety Executive. As of yet there is no legal requirement and no set dates where it will become a requirement to have anyone trained in mental health for the workplace. However under the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, employers have a general duty to ensure the health of their staff, so far as reasonably practicable. So employers need to treat mental health in a similar way to physical health and are encouraged to manage the mental wellbeing of all their staff. By providing mental health training to your staff could have a positive impact on your workplace and workforce.

All Every Second Counts First Aid & Safety Training's courses are evaluated for quality assurance to ensure we comply with these regulations and are independently certified as conforming with universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines.
