Every Second Counts First Aid & Safety Training provides quality training covering a wide range of the Workplace & Paediatric First Aid, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Basic Life Support, Automated External Defibrillator, Healthcare & Dental curriculums. We offer competitive prices and can provide tailor-made training dependent on your needs. We offer interactive, informative and enjoyable training and we don't believe that sitting around learning from just a PowerPoint is the best way to learn.
The business was established in 2017 when Owain decided to go independent offering first aid training after being a first aid trainer and ambulance aider for several years for other companies.
Our aims for the future are to offer a wider range of training courses, to continue to promote an enjoyable learning environment and share with others our extensive first aid knowledge and skills. We believe in supporting people through their training even when the course has finished, which is offered through update videos, refresher courses and access to downloadable resource materials to support your continued development and keeping your skills fresh throughout your certificate validity.
Hi, I am Owain Williams a Trainer and the Director of Every Second Counts. I have extensive knowledge of first aid through my 30 years working with the British Red Cross. I have completed qualifications up to Ambulance Aid Level 2 and helped many people with both medical and first aid based crisis's. I have been called upon at many events and have coordinated the control of many incidents. I have also gained experience in the care sector supporting individuals with various medical and mental conditions. This allows me to pass on my own experiences to others which aids in the learning of first aid and allows me to provide a fun, engaging and up to date courses.
I currently live with my partner in Manchester but often go back to my home village of Abercynon in South Wales where I visit my family. I have 3 children who are now all teenagers and I spend my spare time walking with them in the Welsh valleys, volunteering for a local charity supporting people trying to find jobs or cooking traditional welsh foods such as Glamorganshire sausage or welsh rarebit.
